19 January 2012, Washington DC. Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. inducted last night the new board members and officers of the Philippine American Foundation for Charities (PAFC), led by its board chairman, Mr. Ador Carreon, and incoming president, Ms. Eileen Nadal.

Ambassador Cuisia cited PAFC’s initiatives and accomplishments, including its immediate response to extend assistance to the victims of Typhoon Sendong and the numerous grants it has extended to various organizations. Citing PAFC’s “great dedication and steadfast commitment” to the Filipino-American community in metro D.C., he said “PAFC celebrates the rich unique Filipino identity and underscores the significant contribution of the Filipino-American community to the advancement of a progressive American society.”
